Hey guys! So today I want to talk about my one of my upcoming trips. I'm going to Poland. Some of you may already know about it since I talked about it on Tumblr about two weeks ago.

We're leaving for Krakow on Sunday morning and we'll stay there for 5 days. To be honest when my class decided to go to Krakow I was so mad at first because me and some of my friends in class wanted to go somewhere else.. Barcelona, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague for example. I've never heard of Krakow before and I was so pissed to go to such a "boring" city. After weeks of discussing me and my friends couldn't convince the others and lost the battle...lol. But I'm glad we did. After I did some research on the city and looked through some pictures I'm really looking forward to going there. Krakow is the culture richest city in Poland.. it's also called "The Florence of the north". Which says a lot about it already...

Our activities include a sightseeing tour through the city & Wavel (a royal palace), the Jewish district, one day at the concentration camp Auschwitz/Birkenau, and a visit of the Schindler museum and of the Wieliczka salt mine. We have lots of free time there, we'll eat dinner & lunch in several polish and Jewish restaurant and we'll also go shopping & clubbing of course :)

One of the toughest things to do there will definitely be going to Auschwitz/Birkenau. We've read some letters of workers they wrote to their families before their death. I already know a lot about second WW and also about holocaust. I really want to visit Auschwitz and see the remains of it, it's somehow ironic how we all go there in a group.. the visit is optional though, we don't have to go but somehow I really want to go there but on the other side I'm not sure if I can do this.

If you have any suggestions on restaurants or what else we should go and see, you're more than welcome! Has any one of you even been there? Also let me know if I should make a video or just take pictures and make a normal blog post :)

You want to see what I pack for Poland, or how I pack in general?
